Project TERMINUS Milestones
Established in 2016, Project TERMINUS is a joint initiative of INTERPOL Washington (U.S. National Central Bureau) and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Counterterrorism. The program expands deployment of i24/7, INTERPOL’s secure global police communications network, across high-risk regions and key partner nations—strengthening their ability to access and operationalize INTERPOL’s global criminal databases and law enforcement information-sharing capabilities.
* Facilitated 800,158,780 traveler screenings against INTERPOL data by foreign partner nations.

* 92 million international travelers screened against INTERPOL databases through Project TERMINUS deployments.

* 270+ air, land, and seaport facilities operationalized to screen all inbound and outbound international travelers against INTERPOL databases.

* Generated 7,340,000 foreign partner-nation INTERPOL record actions within INTERPOL databases.

* 5.8+ million partner-nation law enforcement records uploaded to INTERPOL databases through USNCB-implemented Uploader applications.

* U.S. screening systems matched against 1,228 partner-nation INTERPOL records generated through Project TERMINUS custom solutions deployed overseas.

* 64 INTERPOL solution servers deployed to support partner-nation operational screening capabilities.​
