* Guatemala – Project TERMINUS Achieves First-of-Its-Kind Border Security Milestone in Guatemala - The CT-funded, DOJ/USNCB implemented Project TERMINUS and facilitated Guatemala City's National Central Bureau's connection to global INTERPOL databases, enabling real-time traveler screening in an airport environment. The project also deployed Automated Stolen and Lost Travel Documents (SLTD) and Stolen Motor Vehicle Workbench applications, immediately operationalizing and automating Guatemala's independent management of SLTD and SMV records withing INTERPOL's global system. This milestone strengthens Guatemala's ability to identify and interdict terrorists, transnational criminals, and other threat actors before they reach U.S. borders.

* USNCB's Project TERMINUS marks a transformative milestone for Barbados, positioning it at the forefront of Immigration innovation in the Western Hemisphere.

* Barbados – Successfully completed the implementation and deployment of Project TERMINUS tools to the Barbados Immigration Department (BID). This initiative delivered critical infrastructure and technical capabilities required to establish and sustain secure operational connectivity with INTERPOL systems. This installation immediately operationalized the upload and independent management of Barbados’ SLTD and SMV records within INTERPOL’s global system. Following hands-on training and live system demonstration, BID personnel immediately increased their country’s records in the global INTERPOL SLTD database by 1,536%.

 

* With this milestone, Barbados became the first Immigration Department in the Western Hemisphere to implement and deploy the TERMINUS SLTD/SMV Workbench capability. Barbados has not only embraced cutting-edge technology — it has established a new regional benchmark for operational excellence.
