Guatemala is strengthening its border security by working closely with INTERPOL Washington through Project TERMINUS, a U.S. Department of State funded counterterrorism program. Led by Deputy Minister Victor Hugo Cruz, the effort improves intelligence sharing and coordination across borders, helping Guatemala play a stronger role in countering transnational threats and supporting regional security.
